BHI Artisans is a proud extension of Blake’s House of Independence (BHI), a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 with a mission to empower individuals with special needs. Established to provide meaningful opportunities and essential resources, BHI supports individuals in achieving fulfilling employment and living more independently. As a 501(c)(3) organization, BHI is committed to fostering inclusive communities through innovative programs that promote personal growth, self-sufficiency, and a strong sense of purpose. BHI Artisans is dedicated to guiding adults with special needs toward lifelong independence, fulfillment, and meaningful contribution. Our Mission

At BHI Artisans, our mission is to create life-changing opportunities for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities by empowering them through creative expression and skill development. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can learn, grow, and work alongside skilled artisans to produce high-quality products. Through innovative programs in areas like machine embroidery, laser engraving, printing, and woodcraft, we help our clients build confidence, gain meaningful employment, and achieve lifelong independence.
